In the second half of the XIX century, shortly after the uprising of Kastus Kalinowski, churches were massively erected on the territory of Belarus, which were called “muravyovka”. The Orthodox churches of the same name were built by order of Governor-General Muravyov. One of these architectural monuments has been preserved in Kossovo. Here he presents the retrospective Russian style.

In the cold February of 1746, in the still wooden church of the village of Kossovo, the Boy Tadeusz was baptized. And the parents did not suspect yet that their son would become a world-famous military, revolutionary and political figure. A century later, a bright representative of the Neo-Gothic style appeared on this place – the Trinity Church, which operates to this day and attracts visitors and residents of Kossovo with its beautiful appearance.

13:15-13:45 Visit to the Berestye Museum. The Berestye Archaeological Museum branch is the only museum in Europe of a medieval East Slavic city. The basis of the museum’s exposition is an archaeological excavation. At a depth of 4 meters there is a part of the craft quarter – 28 wooden residential and farm buildings
